Elektrik ve manyetizma alan\u0131ndaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131yla bilinen Tesla, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fcn teknolojik geli\u015fimine b\u00fcy\u00fck katk\u0131larda bulunmu\u015f ve bir\u00e7ok modern icad\u0131n temelini atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 1856 y\u0131l\u0131nda H\u0131rvatistan&#8217;\u0131n Smiljan k\u00f6y\u00fcnde do\u011fan Nikola Tesla, gen\u00e7 ya\u015flardan itibaren matematik ve fen bilimlerine ilgi duymu\u015f ve bu alanda kendini geli\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. Daha sonra Alternating Current (AC) yani de\u011fi\u015fken ak\u0131m sistemi \u00fczerine yo\u011funla\u015fm\u0131\u015f ve bu alanda \u00e7\u0131\u011f\u0131r a\u00e7an \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalara imza atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca, bug\u00fcn kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z modern elektrik motorunun da temelini atan Tesla, pek \u00e7ok end\u00fcstriyel alanda b\u00fcy\u00fck bir etki yaratm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Tesla, kablosuz enerji iletimi konusundaki fikirleriyle de tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015f ve bu alanda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yapm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
