Alfabe ve noktalama i\u015faretleri olan bir dil ile c\u00fcmleler kurulabilir. Matematikte de say\u0131lar ve semboller ile c\u00fcmleler kurulabilir ve di\u011fer bilimler ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131 bu sayede daha k\u0131sa ve \u00f6z yazabilir. Mesela biyoloji biliminde h\u00fccrenin birden fazla mitoz b\u00f6l\u00fcnme ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdikten sonra ka\u00e7 h\u00fccrenin olu\u015faca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 k\u0131saca ifade etmek, yaz\u0131ya d\u00f6kebilmek amac\u0131yla matematikteki \u00fcsl\u00fc say\u0131lar\u0131 kullan\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc mitoz b\u00f6l\u00fcnme ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiren h\u00fccrenin \u00fcremesi \u00fcsl\u00fc say\u0131lar\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fcmesi gibi olur, bu durum sayesinde biyoloji, bilimi yaz\u0131ya d\u00f6ker.
